Boston Globe Book Club Event

Join us for discussion of Cascade by Maryanne O’Hara.  Cascade is this year’s Boston Globe Summer Book Club selection.  The Boston Globe Book Club selects a title for readers to discuss over the summer and then hosts a large group event in the fall.

Today, August 15th, is National Relaxation Day.  Since it falls on a Friday this year, why not stretch it to relaxation weekend?

Ever wish you could download music for free through your library?
You can!  As a Wayland Library cardholder you are entitled to download up to 3 songs per week through a service we subscribe to called Freegal.
All you need to do is go to the link above and sign in with your library card number and PIN.  Then you can search/browse the collection and download the songs you want to keep. 
Once you’ve download songs you can play them on your computer or transfer them to a mobile device.
